The snow-covered mountains invite you to come skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, snowshoeing or taking an adventurous trip with sled dogs. The gondola located in front of Dormio Resort Les Portes Du Mont Blanc provides direct access to Domaine de Balme-Poya ski area.

Ski resort La Balme has beautifully groomed slopes, as well as a wonderful off-piste run, which allows you to descend into the valley and return to Vallorcine by train. Ski resort La Poya is the place for children to learn to ski. All other slopes in Chamonix-Mont Blanc ski resort are also easily accessible by ski lift, bus or train.
